One of Bogen's core capabilities for decades has been the fabrication of high-quality magnetic components.  This includes the calculation and customer-specific implementation of miniature coils. Such coils are utilised, for example, in medical technology for telemetry coils in pace makers and in hearing aids, where precise magnetic and electric attributes and know-how in fine work technology allow demanding customer solutions to be realised.

Modern analogue film development uses magnetic recording on the film. Advanced Photo System (APS) is one of these systems.
Although analogue technology is less utilised now with the increased usage of digital photography, magnetic heads are in operation in film development equipment and brandname photo printers in both small and large photo laboratories around the world. Special coating technology provides for durable, long usage under the most severe conditions.
